CORONAVIRUS - Physiolete’s Commitment to Patient Safety
March 16, 2020
At Physiolete Therapy and Performance we have always been committed to the health and safety of our clients and with recent attention on coronavirus (COVID-19) we are taking even more steps to ensure that our clients are taken care of and that we are doing our part to slow the spread of the virus.
We have been carefully monitoring recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). You can click the links below for more information.
At Physiolete Therapy and Performance, our mission is to provide innovative care that empowers our clients to achieve quality results. With that being said, we ask that you read the following steps that we are taking (and are asking you to take) in order to reach your goals and ensure your safety.
- Clients will be treated one-on-one for the entirety of each treatment
- Physiolete will continue to follow universal precautions
- If you are experiencing sickness, symptoms of the virus, or you have been near someone who has been exposed to the virus we ask that you please stay home and follow current CDC recommendations to stop the spread of the virus.
- If you have recently traveled from a high-risk country that has received a Level 3 Travel Health Notice we ask that you stay home and follow the CDC recommendations to stop the spread of the virus.
In the case that you are not able to attend your appointment in person, please know that we have your best interest in mind at Physiolete. We can communicate about your current home program via email, we can schedule a time to talk to you over the phone, or we use HIPAA protected online video conferencing to review your exercises and discuss potential progressions. We want you to know that we are here for you and we are committed to you achieving your physical therapy and performance goals!
